Women in Photonics Technology is a community of students, faculty, administrators, advisors, counselors, and industry members dedicated to inspiring girls and women to study and pursue a career in photonics technologies.

We all unite to develop programs that support girls and women and their love and passion for photonics technologies. This community is a launch platform for success through coaching, networking, collaboration, and programs that foster personal and professional growth.

Photonics is growing fast. We learn about new applications of this technology every day, and we all need to keep learning and gaining new skills to keep up with it. This page features professional development programs to help women be suitably skilled in photonics and photonics-enabled fields. (under development)
