The annual cycle of LASER-TEC begins September 1st and ends August 31st of the following year. As we finish this COVID year, we look at the events and activities that our Center was involved with during the last 12 months.

The articles that follow describe our Light and Optics Experiment Kit (LOEK) project that supported homebound students nation-wide during the COVID lockdown, the new 2021 edition of the LOEK lab manual, three updated modules on Laser Technology in Medicine, three new modules on Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Technology, our brand new Quantum Photonics program, our five-course hybrid program for photonics technicians, our collaboration with Photonics Spectra promoting our college network, the summer student outreach program, and LASER-TEC resources.
