LASER-TEC has been awarded 1.65 million dollars by the National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education Program to continue its operation as a resource center as of September 2020 for the next three years.

​Among multiple goals, LASER-TEC will focus on developing new photonics modules, updating existing and technically outdated materials, and ensure that available materials have all the necessary pedagogical features that will simplify their integration.
