With the assistance from the National Science Foundation, LASER-TEC has established a very dynamic National Visiting Committee (NVC). In accordance with the best practices of the NSF ATE program, LASER-TEC NVC members monitor the progress of the center, continuously look for opportunities to expand the goals of the center, and provide guidance for the future direction and activities of the center.

Current membership includes industry and academic leaders from Laser Institute of America, Jenoptik Optical Systems, Harris Corporation, Corning Optical Communications, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory (National Ignition Facility), Precision Contracting Service Inc., Northport Middle School, ICAMR, the College of Optics and Photonics at University of Central Florida, InfraTec Infrared, Ocean Insight, and others.
